Elaina Smith, Journalist
This is Elaina Smith’s first year as a journalist for The Lariat although she has read The Lariat her entire life. Elaina is looking forward to contributing cooking features called ¨Pasta La Vista,¨ and ¨Flippin’ Awesome¨ for the newspaper website. Elaina is also excited to cover athletics and entertainment as a novice journalist. Elaina is a multisport athlete who doesn’t get enough sleep and is best friends with the Shadow Ridge school banker. Miraculously, Elaina has already collected two out of the eight limited edition scratch and sniff bookmarks from the school library.
