Kale is the Editor In Chief of The Lariat newspaper (the backbone of Shadow Ridge High School) and persistent athlete,  who excels at overthinking every little detail in the paper.  In fact, he went through his camera roll four times before choosing this profile picture.  Kale has been in training for this role since he was two years old.

Lao is a jack of all trades in the journalism program.  He enjoys writing articles, taking photographs, and talking to people at Shadow Ridge.  He always says "yes" when asked to do something and most importantly, he always has a smile on his face.  He is especially skilled in anything technological and members of The Lariat wouldn't be surprised if Lao had something to do with the SpaceX program.

Camryn provides much needed comic relief to The Lariat and she likes to think outside the box.  She has dedicated much of her time to chasing down the important stories in vindicating her role as the in-house researcher.  Camryn has her finger on the pulse of the Shadow Ridge Student Body.  Camryn's favorite saying in journalism is, "Spell check yourself before you spell wreck yourself."

Anthony Ford

Anthony is The Lariat's athletics editor and roving reporter.  While Anthony chose to take a "gap year" from the program during his junior year, he quickly realized he couldn't live without the school newspaper or the prestige that comes with it.  In addition to his dedication to The Lariat, Anthony is a full-time athlete and an all-around great guy.
