Most people like to slow down and take their time when completing a task, some people procrastinate, and others do it the day it’s assigned. When a student handles their assignments earlier than most they’ve accomplished something that many can’t. Senior in high school and also a freshman in college, Zayniyah Tenny, manages his time to utilize every moment.
Tenny started his college career early to earn his associates degree earlier than most high school graduates, majoring in marketing analytics and advertisement. With his dedication and ambition for taking on this academic challenge he is content and attentive to reach his target.
When it comes to education, Tenny makes sure he’s putting his best foot forward, because he believes that grades define a person. He makes sure he uses all the resources available to him to further his college education.
After graduation Tenny wants to go out of state for college and wants to major in Business and Marketing. Tenny takes part in after school clubs like DECA for networking opportunities, and his main interest is in advertising. He would prefer to promote business and products of those who have supported him in the past.
Even with all the work he has to take care of, he knows when breaks are needed to relax. Whether it’s online or through the phone, Tenny enjoys his free time with his friends and family, he appreciates the quality time he spends with those closest to him. It enables Tenny to refresh his mind so he’s able to give his all in his work.
Even in his roughest of times Tenny knows that the people who’re around him are there to support him whenever he needs it. He believes that those people surround themselves with influence, therefore he is grateful to those who uplift him and help him stay focused at the same time. Giving homage to his family and friends the most, his mom is the reason why he works so hard, he also credits his peers because they help him get through his days.
Tenny always looks forward to what may come next, whether it’s or something that he’s able to enjoy and have fun with, he is able to live in the moment and he appreciates every second he gets.
“It’s always better to be early than to be on time, don’t let things pass you by because you didn’t do it in the past, and don’t think about what you could’ve done differently in the past for you’ll never be able to change it. Those who look back are never able to move forward, so keep your head up, look straight ahead, and keep walking your path cause nobody can move your feet but you,” stated Tenny
