As the 25-26 school year comes to a close, it’s time for the senior events which provide core memories for all of the soon to be graduates of Shadow Ridge. Senior assassin is just wrapping up and Prom is just around the corner but one of the most anticipated events is the Senior Graduation trip to Disneyland and California Adventure.

Many seniors are excited to spend a day out of town with their closest classmates and friends, and there’s no better way to do so than a day trip to Disneyland and California Adventure.
Disneyland is divided into 9 different sections and it definitely gives the students a days worth of activities to enjoy, but California Adventure is also a part of the Grad Night Trip. With the graduates being able to switch between the two parks, they’ll be very busy trying to get into all the rides in one day.
Since Disney is one of the biggest international media companies, many people are familiar with the surrounding buildings and mascots around them.
Even though Disney owns various franchises they are still able to put passion and effort into Disneyland. It’s safe to say that the Star Wars section is definitely one of the most detailed areas in all of Disney. Most of the hype in this land revolves around the infamous ride, “Rise of the Resistance” and it’s definitely a ride that everyone should go on at least once.

Even though Disneyland is larger than California Adventure, that doesn’t mean that California Adventure is less sought after. California Adventure is broken up into 8 different categories and it is easy for people to find activities to amuse themselves.
California Adventure has rides like the Incredicoaster, Radiator Springs, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT; the excitement will definitely get people out their shoes and up and moving. Areas like Pixar Peak and Cars Land add a sense of nostalgia to people who grew up watching their movies.
Many seniors are excited for this trip and it’s normal for students to plan their outfits accordingly. Many girls are getting Disney themed clothes and some guys are following the trend so they can use their group for funny group photos. For the students who want to match but don’t know how to, the school supplies all attendees with a matching shirt to wear while at the park.
Most students are bringing small bags filled with practical items like portable chargers, towels, and tissues, and whatever else they may need for the day.

Students are also encouraged to come with money that they’ll spend at the theme park. As theme parks are known to be expensive, coming with money to spend on food and souvenirs is very important.
The students will also have access to the park after hours so they’ll be able to access rides easier, and they’ll also get to attend the late night firework show with their friends.
Since this is one of the last events in the 2025-2026 school year it’s important for seniors to make the most of their time while they’re still in school. This trip is made for them to enjoy themselves and they’ll definitely leave the park with everlasting memories of their senior year.
