Las Vegas is rumored to be getting the Super Bowl again in 2029. This is a big deal because the last time Vegas had it, in 2024, it was a huge success. Now, the NFL wants to bring it back, and a lot of people are excited.
Las Vegas is the perfect place for a Super Bowl. There are big hotels, casinos, and lots of fun things to do. The city is known for putting on big events, so having the Super Bowl here just makes sense.
“Las Vegas knows how to do big events better than anyone,” said Steve Hill, CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
The Super Bowl is more than just a game, it’s a whole week of entertainment, and there’s no better city for it than Las Vegas.
The game will be played at Allegiant Stadium, where the Las Vegas Raiders play. It’s a new and modern stadium with air conditioning and a roof, so the weather won’t be a problem. Allegiant Stadium was built to host events like the Super Bowl. Bringing the Super Bowl back in 2029 proves that Vegas has become one of the top sports cities in the world.

When the Super Bowl was in Vegas in 2024, the city was full of people. Hotels were sold out, and businesses made a lot of money. The same thing is expected for 2029, maybe even bigger.
According to the U.S Chamber of Commerce, “The final estimated local economic impact of last year’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas was $1 billion fueled by direct spending by visitors and residents, indirect spending at local businesses, employment, and tax revenue.”
This city will also have concerts, parties, and fan events leading up to the big game. The strip will be packed with tourists, and restaurants will be full. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience. People saw how incredible Las Vegas was as a Super Bowl host, and sure they are happy for the return.

Sophomore Max Trenholm who plays football explains, “In 2024 it was my first live football game and it was the Super Bowl. It was amazing and it was so big and loud, I felt as if I was playing in the game or on the sidelines. I would love for the Super Bowl to return, next time I would take my little brother with me and my friends to share the amazing experience.”
Las Vegas is ready to prove again that it’s one of the best places for a Super Bowl. In 2029, the world will be watching, and Vegas will make sure it’s a show to remember.
