People Hating On The Sphere

People traveling from all over America to come to Las Vegas say that the new sphere is very disturbing at night. When people are trying to sleep all they can see is a big yellow emoji making different faces every night, that’s always moving around.

“When my family and I were sleeping at a hotel all we could see was the really big bright sphere. I could barely get any sleep that night and I had a big tournament the next day,” Maddox Hubbart, sophomore, stated.

The sphere is an amazing attraction for tourists. It brings in a lot of cash flow for everyone. Hotel owners, restaurants, and, of course, the sphere itself. But people have a lot of complaints about it. Some people don’t like how modern it is. They like old Vegas and this new sphere is modern and random. There are certain historic parts of Vegas people love. They enjoy the old artwork on the buildings and the authenticity of old Vegas, and this new sphere does not fit into that old authentic Vegas that everyone knows and loves. People have kept Vegas this way forever, so why change it now?

“My mom and I have always loved walking around Vegas. We always get donuts and take long walks all around Vegas. We go up and down the strip and all over downtown. I love seeing all the artwork everywhere and all over the buildings. And when we walk on the strip seeing all the casinos and buildings that have been there forever is the best part. But now that there is a big sphere that is yellow it really takes away from the whole experience,” Alyssa Goldstein sophomore, stated.

Though Vegas is always being added to and updated, was the sphere really a necessary addition? But the outside really is the only problem, the inside has to be different.

“When my family and I bought tickets to go see the inside of the sphere it was one of the most beautiful experiences ever. It felt like you were really there in the moment of whatever picture they were showing, if I could go back I would,” Cassius Britt, freshman, stated.

The outside of the sphere may be a problem and not fit into the theme of Vegas. The images could be changed to something less bright and distracting, so that everyone can focus more on the pinpoints of what Vegas really is. People could also get sleep and still enjoy the beauty and authenticity of Vegas.

I like the Sphere. I think it makes Vegas more unique.

The inside of the sphere is something everyone should be able to see at least once and enjoy the surreal experience of feeling like people are somewhere they are not. This inside of the sphere is huge, with large seating options that go from top to bottom. There is a stage in the front and of course large LED screens all around.
