In the Fall of 2021, the FlyOver will open to residents and tourists in downtown Las Vegas next to the HardRock Hotel. The ride is a 52 ft wrap-around screen that will surround the guests and show them multiple beautiful destinations. The ride is a fun and immersive experience to see many places and offer tourists a fun excursion. The ride will show the breathtaking landscapes from the most popular spots on the West coast.

“FlyOver in Las Vegas will give visitors a new and visually stunning way to see breathtaking landscapes of the American West. Much like our FlyOver concepts around the world, our new Las Vegas attraction will push the boundaries of escape and take guests on the ultimate flying ride adventure,” states Fox 5 News.

The FlyOver ride will give tourists an option to see many beautiful sites all at one location and time. Some people might be skeptical about how the experience will feel real and how the special effects will help.

Here’s how the ride works: “People enter the ride and strap into seats facing a 52-foot “vibrant spherical screen” that surrounds guests. Once the ride begins, guests will be lifted off the ground, leaving their feet dangling off their chairs as they “fly” through destinations like the Grand Canyon, Zion and Arches National Parks, Lake Tahoe, and the Strip. During the ride, the platform will move with six degrees of motion, allowing guests to feel like they are truly flying. Special effects including wind, mist, and location-specific scents, will make it feel all the more real,” states Travel+Leisure. The experience’s main goal is to make the riders feel like they are ‘flying over the most beautiful scenery on the West Coast.

David Barry is the president of the pursuit and he shared exclusive news about the new FlyOver ride in Downtown Las Vegas.
“The need to escape, relax and restore through travel experiences will become much more meaningful as we emerge from what has been an incredibly challenging year,” David Barry, president of Pursuit, shared. “Introducing a new FlyOver attraction in a globally recognized tourism destination like Las Vegas marks another milestone across Pursuit’s growing FlyOver portfolio. This new attraction will enable us to connect visitors with a distinctive experience that showcases both the vibrancy of Las Vegas along with the stunning natural wonders of the American West,” states Travel+Leisure.

Barry is hoping that the new excursion in Downtown Las Vegas,  will allow visitors to see the natural world, without having to travel. The FlyOver ride will become the new attraction for tourists who come to visit Las Vegas. The ride is a fun and new way to see many beautiful attractions without having to travel.
