Fear Zone, formerly known as Fright Dome, has made a reimagined return to Circus Circus. On September 26th at The Adventuredome inside Circus Circus an attraction called Fear Zone made its debut. Fear Zone is a fully immersive haunted experience that includes haunted houses, scare zones, live scare actors, and roller coasters in the dark. In 2018 the attraction Fright Dome was cancelled, now it is back reimagined with a new spin due to its popularity long ago.
Its recent grand opening has gained the interest of Las Vegas, more specifically in the younger generation. Teenagers are always looking for new activities to participate in with their friends and this is one of them. Teenagers can feel the thrill of being scared while enjoying the theme park for its rides. The attraction has many different components for all sorts of Halloween fun, they have four different haunted houses and six different scare zones. Students can also experience the park for its rides and everyday activities.

Sophomore Presley Walker stated, “I’m most excited for the ‘Cotton Candy Carnage’ haunted house because its theme is an abandoned funhouse with clowns. I’m excited for all of the attractions but I think the clowns will be the most fun part.”
The Fear Zone described the attraction as a funhouse abandoned for 7 years with haunted clowns inside waiting to scare people. The Fear Zone has many themes and settings for the attractions, from an abandoned bunker to a band of neon clowns. The new fear zone closely mirrors the former Fright Dome, which, during its 14-year run, was nationally recognized as one of the top haunted attractions in the United States.
Sophomore Ryan Pajak stated, “I think the variety of attractions will definitely be a bonus for me since I can participate in it all and make sure I get my money’s worth. The website told me everything I needed to know to plan a visit.”
The reimagined attraction is said to be even better than the old attraction. The Fear Zone is open on select dates commonly near the end of the week. It opens at 7:00 p.m. and closes at midnight but they suggest showing up early as they have an occupancy limit which may cause patrons to be required to wait for entry. Ticket packages start at $80 with additional costs for fast passes and perks.
The attraction stops running after Halloween and won’t return to Circus Circus until next year. It’s perfect for high school students looking for a scary place to have fun with friends and make memories together. The website can be found by searching Fear Zone Vegas, there tickets can be purchased in advance and all information about the attractions can be found. High schoolers looking for a place to have a scary fun time can find that at the Fear Zone.
