Lana Del Rey is one of the greatest singers of all time.  She was born in Manhattan, New York 1985 on July 21st.  She is an American singer songwriter with 38 singles.  Her music journey started at a young age with her performing in local talent shows and church choirs.  She attended Fordham University in New York where she studied philosophy and music. Del Rey has carved out a distinct place in the music industry, captivating audiences worldwide.  Del Rey faced many challenges during her musical career.

Despite all the setbacks she faced she persevered and never gave up.  Her breakout single that was released in 2011 called “Video Games” was what led her to fame.

The songs she writes often explore the themes of love, heartbreak, and the different issues of human relationships.  Her album called “Born to Die” came out shortly after “Video Games” and it made her status as one of the most intriguing new artists in the industry.  Del Rey has released several albums such as “Ultraviolence” in 2014, “Honeymoon” in 2015 and lastly “Lust for Life” in 2017.  Each of these albums has her signature blend of cinematic imagery, and introspective songwriting, making her to be very well liked and known.
