A new club on campus is encouraging students to come together through their faith, kindness, and open conversation. The Bible Club is run by students with the support of a faculty advisor, Mr. Kramer, they meet weekly to share, learn, and encourage one another in a positive environment.
The Bible Club meets on Fridays in room 207 at 1:30 p.m., and newcomers are always welcome to sit in on a meeting. Students interested in officially joining can fill out a form, but participation is open to anyone who wants to learn more or find a supportive community. Forms can be found in room 207.

The club’s main purpose is to create a welcoming space for students while focusing on Christian values.
Mr. Kramer confirmed, “We just want the Bible Club to provide a community for students. Our goal is to be positive, kind, and to exemplify Jesus Christ through our actions.”
Members like Carter Hay said the club helps students strengthen their faith while also building meaningful friendships.
“It’s a good group to be a part of, it’s pretty intimate and close,” Hay shared.
Members hope this approach will help spread positivity throughout the student body.
Hay explained, “It helps their connection with God and strengthens it.”
He also adds that the club is a way for students to maintain a spiritual connection outside of regular church services.
“I wanted to strengthen my relationship with God, but I wasn’t able to go to church on Sundays as much, so I just went here and I got the same thing, basically,” Hay said.
Although the club is rooted in Christianity, it is open to all students regardless of their beliefs.
Mr. Kramer emphasized that inclusivity is central to the group’s mission.
“You don’t have to be Christian to join. You can come if you want to learn more about what the Bible says or just be part of the community,” he explained.
Respect for different perspectives is an important part of meetings. While the club focuses on the Christian gospel, discussions are open to questions about other belief systems.
Mr. Kramer explained, “It’s a very calm atmosphere, I try to make sure everyone feels heard while keeping things respectful.”

Bible Club meetings typically begin with prayer and an opportunity for members to share their ‘highs and lows’ from the week. Students also exchange praise reports, celebrating the positive things happening in their lives. A new addition this year is student-led presentations. Each week, a member presents on a topic such as faith or strengthening a relationship with God, which then can spark group discussion. Hay said he finds these presentations meaningful for personal growth and learning from others.
While the club currently focuses on its weekly meetings, Mr. Kramer noted that future events or projects may be possible. Hay added that he hopes the club will also expand into community service.
“I’d like to start getting more involved with community service. We got into it a tiny bit last year. I want to start giving back to our community in some way,” Hay expressed.
With its emphasis on kindness, inclusion, and student leadership, the Bible Club hopes to make a lasting impact on campus. As Mr. Kramer put it, the mission is simple: to live out faith by being “gracious and kind to all people.”
