Forever 21, which was a staple for many, especially through their teenage years, will be closing all doors in the U.S. after filing for bankruptcy 2 times in 6 years. This is very sad for many as Forever 21 shaped many wardrobes over the years. Senior Kaylee Ramsey is one of the many who are sad to see such a nostalgic place go.

“I can say I’ve been shopping at Forever 21 for as long as I can remember. I mean I used to go with my best friend’s older sisters when they were in high school, so a pretty long time. I feel bad seeing all of the locations close down because everyone used to love it,” says Ramsey.
Senior Madi Miller is also sad to see it go as they were a great place to get all of the simple things.
“I’ve been shopping at Forever 21 since I was about 13. I feel sad that all the locations are closing because they always had the best cheap basics,” says Miller.
Forever 21 is having major sales on all things in the shop from clothes, to perfume, and even the shelves inside.
“I will definitely be taking advantage of their sale as I would do anything for a good bargain,” Miller says.
Though many things are on sale Ramsey feels as though she has outgrown the Forever 21 wardrobe.
“Personally I’m not going to be taking advantage of the sales. I think I’ve kind of aged out of the hype of Forever 21,” says Ramsey.
Forever 21 truly was a nostalgic place for many.
“It’s sad to think about just because it’s been around for so long, but it’s been a few months since I’ve been in there so I don’t really know how to feel about it,” Ramsey adds.
Though sad, many have already moved on to other stores for all their clothing needs.
“The closing is sad for me, but I definitely will keep shopping as I am a shopaholic. I’ll probably just pick up the slack at PacSun or Brandy Melville,” Miller shares.
Forever 21 will also be missed for its easy access nature.
“I’ll probably miss how convenient the store was when you needed it. Prices were always so good and they had everything,” Ramsey shares.
The pricing just could not be beat at Forever 21 and will be missed most of all.
“I will miss the cheap prices and some of their crazy finds the most for sure, they always had the cheapest classic items which I will miss,” says Miller.
