The holiday season brings fun times with family, amazing feels, and of course, good food. For several seniors, including Olivia DeNofa and Bella Mora, they have found their favorite of the good food to be the famous Bobbie from Capriotti’s. This sandwich consists of turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo on a big slab of bread. While to some people this may sound disgusting, for Mora, and Denofa, there is nothing they look forward to more than getting their next Bobbie fix.
“Simply put, Bobbie has given me joy, happiness, and fulfillment. It is the reason I get through the day, just knowing the moment the third period bell rings I can go to Capriotti’s with my fellow Bobbie enthusiasts. (Bella and Maya),” DeNofa shares.
The Bobbie has even been a big part of shaping who Mora is today.
“The bobbie has made me the woman I am today,” says Mora.
While it is a sandwich that definitely will put its lovers into their holiday feels, it can be ordered year round but for these girls that does not seem to be how they roll.
“I only order it around Thanksgiving so it can put me in the holiday mood. it wouldn’t feel right to order it during summer,” Mora says.
“I would order it everyday if I could,” DeNofa says.
Though the contents of The Bobbie might not be for everyone, this Thanksgiving staple is on the top of the list for others for its festive nature.
“The Bobbie is a beautifully created blend of Thanksgiving goodness,” says DeNofa.
Mora also agrees with the can’t go wrong nature of this Thanksgiving delight.
“The Bobbie is basically all Thanksgiving staples into one sandwich. I like it so much because it’s the perfect festive mixture,” says Mora.
Though the Bobbie is an alterable sandwich, both lovers leave it the way it is.
“The Bobbie is perfect just the way she is although she is completely customizable to your liking,” DeNofa adds.
Mora feels the exact same way when it comes to the perfection of the ingredients.
“The Bobbie is perfect as is. I would never alter it,” Mora says.
The ingredients of this masterpiece are simple, yet complex leading to favorites.
“I would have to say the stuffing is easily the best part,” DeNofa says.
While both love the sandwich, they both have different parts they find more enjoyment with.
“My favorite part of The Bobbie is the cranberry sauce,” Mora adds.
Both also believe The Bobbie to be their spirit animal and think it perfectly describes who they are as people. For DeNofa they are connected.
“So metaphorically speaking me and the Bobbie are one being and I aspire to eat, sleep, and breathe Bobbie. This is why I feel we are connected, thus making The Bobbie my spirit animal,” Denofa says.
For Mora, the sandwich perfectly explains who she is as a person.
“The Bobbie is my spirit animal because it’s a great sweet and savory combination just like my personality,” Mora says.
