Mrs. Pisciotta’s “Sweet Potato Casserole”
Sweet Potato Casserole
- 3 cups sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- Pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup of butter
- 1/3 cup of flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup of coconut
- 1 cup of pecans
- 1/3 cup melted butter
Combine all the above ingredients until it gets smooth.
Pour into a 2-quart casserole dish.
Mix all the topping ingredients and spread over sweet potato mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes
