Monster House (2006)

DJ has suspicions about the house across the street and the cranky old man who lives there. When the old man has a heart attack and is carried away by an ambulance, DJ thinks the danger is over. When DJ’s nanny’s boyfriend, Bones, goes over to the house and starts kicking its grass, he gets swallowed by the house. They try to unravel the mystery of the house and stop it from eating more people, by going in.
