Amelia Torres is a junior at Shadow Ridge High School and she recently joined journalism. She is excited to write stories for The Lariat and share what’s happening around Shadow. Amelia’s favorite subjects are English and history, and she hopes to use her love for writing to highlight student activities and events on campus. She looks forward to improving her writing skills through this class. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, playing with her dogs, and trying new foods. She also loves music, movies, and traveling with her family. Amelia’s favorite thing to do is go shopping, and she goes to the mall often. Her favorite drink is Thai Tea boba and her favorite food is seafood boil. She also has an obsession with the color pink. After high school, Amelia hopes to attend college and later pursue a career as a nurse.
