Elise (Elli) Owens is a sophomore at Shadow Ridge High School. She is a student-athlete who has been on the Shadow Ridge Varsity Soccer Team since she was a freshman. She is also a regional qualifier for multiple events in track and field. She also plays club soccer, making it hard for her to find free time. This is Owens’ first year in journalism but is hoping to continue down this path and is excited to pursue her writing career. She aspires to be an elementary school teacher or something in the writing department. Her dream is to go to FSU for education and teaching school, as well as hoping to play D1 soccer in college. She is creative, and loves writing, painting, drawing, etc. Her friends are a big part of her life and she appreciates their presence and personalities. Her favorite food is spaghetti and her favorite color is baby blue. She was also born and raised in Las Vegas.
