Howls Moving Castle

Howls Moving Castle is a wonderful studio Ghibli movie made by Hayao Miyazaki with a soundtrack made by Joe Hisaishi. The film is one of Studio Ghibli’s most beloved movies and is a complete masterpiece. It is a very little-known fact that Howls Moving Castle is based on a novel by an English author. The movie is very loosely based on the books having an almost completely different plot, this is one of the rare cases where not staying true to the books isn’t exactly a bad thing. The plot of the movie and the plot of the book are both incredible stories that are worth experiencing. The characters in the book also have very different personalities and though they are similar the worlds they live in are very different too. Howls Moving Castle is a wonderful book that deserves more popularity and lovers of the movie might find some of the strange things in the movie’s plot, to make a little more sense.
