President Joe Biden

U.S president Joe Biden has recently announced his first prime address to the nation. In his address, Biden explained his plans and what he will be doing to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. On the same day he had announced his address, he had also signed a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package into law, already demonstrating the actions he plans to take. While stating his plans, he announced that all adult Americans will be eligible for vaccination by May 1. Through his plans and the available vaccinations, Biden hopes for life to return to normal, sooner, rather than later.

A  crucial part of this plan is to get as many vaccines out as they can through the expansion of health workers and even service deployed by the military.  The White House has stated that there will be 4,000 active- duty service members, and 6,000 troops backing the vaccinations. The White House also stated that this is all to “support vaccination efforts.” The primary focus during this period is to get as many people as possible vaccinated through several possible means, even utilizing dentists, veterinarians, and paramedics to give out these shots.

Biden stated, “we’re mobilizing thousands of vaccinators to put the vaccine in one’s arm.”

Through these vaccinations, along with the effort being put into this plan, Biden expressed his hopes in the possible return of the previous normalcy before the virus. Biden expressed his thoughts on the positive possible outcome of these efforts in being able to enjoy quality time with others but has made sure to mention the importance of caution and social distance through either outcome.

“By July 4th, there’s a good chance you, your families and friends, will be able to get together in your backyard or in your neighborhood and have a cookout or a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day,” says Biden.

Through his statements, Biden has shown his hopes for relief from the virus, and a better Independence Day for the U.S

“After this long hard year, that will make this Independence  Day something truly special where we not only mark our independence as a nation but begin to mark our independence from this virus.”

Through Biden’s plans and his speech it may lead to a safer environment and more protection against the virus. Although no outcome is set in stone, action is being taken, and hopes are high for the future moving forward.
