Adele has just announced her residency in Las Vegas. She will be in Vegas starting January 21st, 2022, through April 16th, 2022.
Adele will be staying at Caesars Palace. The Casino/Hotel will be hosting “Weekends with Adele.” She will be performing 2 days every weekend for the duration of her stay. The announcement of her residency came shortly after the release of her 4th studio album 30. According to New York Post the singer-songwriter’s new album deputed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and No.1 on album charts in 30 countries.
Tickets are very limited for these shows. They were available if fans registered with Ticketmaster by December 2nd. Tickets were available to registered people first, then if tickets didn’t sell out to registered people, then they would go on general sale to the public. She will only be performing 8 shows at the Colosseum over the course of her stay here in Vegas. The colosseum at Caesars Palace only sits 4,000 people, in comparison to T-Mobile arena that sits 20,000
Summer Conboy, junior, says, “I am so proud of being in Vegas now, I love the fact that she has a residency here… I would love to see her.”
This is Adele’s first album release since 2011 with her album 21. Her new album talks of the journey through her divorce and raising her son, Angelo. She got married to her now ex-husband Simon Konecki, in 2018, but they had been together since 2011. The couple then got divorced in 2019.
The 3rd track on her new album titled My Little Love specifically talks about how she was so focused on herself and so overcome with emotions because of the divorce that she started to almost forget about her son. She talks of being a bad mom and trying to re-connect with her 9 year old son.
A verse from the song says,
“I feel so bad to be here when I’m so guilty
I’m so far gone, and you’re the only one who can save me”
As the album progresses, the sings get lighter and happier and the singer-songwriter now says that she is doing a lot better.
