Scream (1996)

A teenage girl, Sidney becomes the target of a masked killer just a year after her mother was murdered. A local tabloid reporter, Gale, is trying everything she can to uncover who the killer is. Gale tells Sidney that she thinks the same person killed her mother. Eventually Sidney’s boyfriend becomes the prime suspect in the case.
